All Obisidian IP is licensed for multi-use, with and option to include source licensing.
Multi-Use Licensing
- Included the usual object deliverables including: GDS layout, LEF file(s), CDL netlist, DRC/LVS results, verilog model, basic timing models, data sheet.
- There are no royalties.
- The usual rights to develop, manufacture, and destribute the IP for any purpose other than sale (or transfer) of IP to a different organization.
- No restrictions on the number of times the IP is used within any number of projects for the purchasing organization.
- Limited time support is included, with the option to purchase 10 hour blocks of support time afterwards.
- Licensing and support are active while payments are less 15 days late, or payments are made in full.
- Available support for on-site detailed installation and system debug activities.
Source Licensing
- Intent is to transfer the design expertise to the customer such that they may fully own and optionally modify the IP.
- Offered as an optional upgrade to multi-use licensing.
- All rights to the IP are transfered except for sale as IP or transfer to another entity.
- Includes all the source design available including: OA data-base, source of scripts used in the design, test benches, demo board designs etc.
- Available on-site consulting, porting, and training or the IP design.
